The general in-game currency is referred to as gold.[2][3]
- Gold, silver, and copper coins are present in the game.[4]
- There are also specific progression-based currencies that cannot be traded (referred to as bound currencies).[5][2]
- Religions.[2]
- Social organizations.[2]
- Tavern games (potentially).[6]
- Node types may have their own specific currencies earned through personal progression within that node.[5][7][2]
- Honor at military nodes.[7]
- Favor at divine nodes.[7]
- In the religious node that you mentioned, one of those concepts is something called "favor"; and favor is acquired through participating in certain religious quest-lines, through repeatable activities that you can achieve it, and through turning in certain types of material acquisitions to acquire the favor.[7] – Steven Sharif
- Monsters don't drop gold, they instead drop hunting certificates.[2]
- Game currency does not have weight.[8]
- There is no cap on how much currency a player can hold.[9]
Players do not lose gold upon death, no matter their corruption level.[10]
