Kaelar (pronounced Kay-lar) are a playable Aela Human race in Ashes of Creation.

Build. Order. Civilization. These are the foundational principles of the Kaelar. Their empire in the old world spanned the largest of all, and they plan to do the same in this world. Extremely loyal to their roots, the Kaelar will rise to the challenge.

• The ruins of Aela is located in the Riverlands biome. It houses the Aelan divine gateway in Alpha-2.

It is a massive area; and again the reason why it's so large and why this might be very atypical for us as players to experience in such a starting area something so big, is because this place changes based on what you do in the world; and different areas of this city become accessible as the world develops further.
