Giant Webweaver (previously named Giant Spider) is an arachnid mob in Ashes of Creation.^[2]^[3]

Giant spiders are not immediately hostile toward players.^[3]

One thing that we'd like to demonstrate today is that not every enemy in Verra is going to just behave like your simple aggro immediately and beeline for you. The Giant Webweaver might not necessarily want to engage these scary looking adventures, so he's gonna stand off and hope that you back away.^[3] – Tradd Thompson
