At Town (fase 4) the economic node's unique building becomes the De Exchange. In addition to the abilities that the market offers, the Exchange adds additional services, including (but not limited to):[1]

The economy in Ashes of Creation is regionalized.[4][5][6]

Economic systems require scarcity. And in a game, all scarcity is artificially created in an attempt to simulate supply/demand structures or as we would call them points of player friction. You may progress within your processing profession by being a member of a guild or family of a person who owns a freehold and has setup the infrastructure necessary for t4-5 processing. With the intent that players will be able through effort to find a way of progressing and accessing late game processing. If that is not the case through testing then we will adjust the designs as necessary in order to achieve the systems.[23]

Economic nodes

Economic nodes are focused on trade and merchants.[24]

If playing the game of supply and demand is something you enjoy, the Economic Node Type is one you’ll want to find citizenship in. Whether it’s trading goods across land and sea, hoarding the income you make, or purchasing whatever you fancy, Economic Nodes provide a plethora of ways for players in Ashes of Creation to grow their fortune, build their reputation, and attain rare goods or fame. During the Expedition stage of this Node, players will encounter merchants looking for the help of brave adventurers and curious artisans. If you choose to aid them, the once-small Expedition could grow into a sprawling Metropolis with rare items from lands afar![1]

Economische node voordelen

Economische nodes die de metropoolstage bereikt hebben, ontgrendelen de verbonden economie superkracht. Economische nodes met deze superkracht delen hun veilinghuiscatalogus met alle andere economische nodes.[1]

  • Totaan twee economische metropolen kunnen op deze manier verbonden worden.[12]
  • Metropool level economische nodes staan wereldwijde verkoopprijzen over Verra voor hun veilinghuizing toe.[1]
  • Op items die vermeld zijn in een verbonden economische node kan geboden worden via elke andere verbonden economische node.[1]
  • Verbonden economieën verbinden ook de economische metropool en zijn economische vazalnodes.[1]

Economische nodes die de metropoolstage bereikt hebben, ontgrendelen de superkracht "Verbonden Economie". Elke economische node met deze superkracht ontgrendelt de mogelijkheid om de veilinghuiscatalogus te delen met alle anderen, wat betekent dat men kan bieden op de items die in de ene verbonen economische node vermeld zijn in elke andere verbonden economische node. Verbonden economieën verbinden ook een metropool en elke vazal economische nodes die bij die metropool horen.[1]

De Verbonden Economie superkracht heeft de mogelijkheid om een grootse markt de maken die de hele wereld omtrekt. Dit staat spelers toe om items met gemak te kopen en verkopen, mits ze toegang hebben tot deze economische nodes. Dit is een sneller pad naar vermogen in het land van Ashes of Creation.[1]

Unieke nodegebouwen

Elk node type heeft een geassocieerd uniek nodegebouw dat geactiveerd kan worden bij de dorpelijke stage van de nodevoortgang. Het unieke gebouw speelt een centrale rol in de vooruitgang van de burgerij van een server.[1]

Auction house

Alpha-1 Auctioneer NPC.[26]

If a Node is the Vassal Node of an Economic Node, an Auctioneer NPC appears in that Vassal Node. The Auctioneer allows players to list non-resource/processed materials in the Parent Node’s Auction House, but players cannot bid on items from this Auctioneer. These resources and processed materials must be stored within an Economic Node in order to be listed in that Node’s Auction House. In order to bid, they must still travel to the Auction House in the Parent Node.[1]

Auction houses enable players to list items at specific nodes.[11][6]

  • Previously this was stated to be at the economic node in which the auction house is located. The new quote may not necessarily contradict this statement.[27]
Auction houses allow items and resources to be listed for sale at a specific node location.[11]Steven Sharif
  • A listing fee will be charged to list items in the auction house.[27]
  • Vassal nodes of the auction house node will be able to view items that are listed on that auction house, regardless of node type of the vassal node.[27]
    • This will be possible through an auctioneer emissary NPC in that node.[27]
    • Items cannot be listed in non-economic vassal nodes.[27]
  • Items listed are also visible in community boards (bulletin boards).[28]
