--Lex (talk) 03:43, 12 October 2017 (UTC) TODO: Currently not able to set a caption on the animated gif. For some reason it's crashing MW. --Lex (talk) 00:23, 1 November 2017 (UTC) Replaced the animated gif with a video!

--Megs (talk) 16:35, 8 November 2017 (UTC) So you'll automatically be registered as a defender if you're a citizen of an attacked node... I wonder if this puts you up as eligible for PvP during that siege?

Steven Sharif has provided two different examples of what he saw as a "prime time" window in two different interviews. With the Asmongold interview he threw out 3pm-7pm. On the Jahlon 7/8/2020 interview Steve threw out 4pm-9pm. Suggest changing this bullet point currently on the "Siege" "Node Siege" "Castle Siege" pages Sieges occur within a prime-time window of between 3PM and 7PM server time, to say "between 3pm and 9pm server time, which are times that are subject to change based on beta testing." reference: (22:44) www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWguiuv9iyY&feature=youtu.be&t=22m44s --Stephen (talk) 04:33, 15 August 2020 (CST)

I have split this into its own template to keep it in one place and to avoid duplication. This template is transcluded in each of the relevant articles. --Lex (talk) 19:03, 15 August 2020 (EDT)

(Edit suggestion) under subsection "Declaring a node siege" During the declaration period, individuals or guilds can also register to attack.[10] . Change to "...individuals or guilds can also register to attack or defend even if they are not a citizen." (1:16:03) www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GySx-cU6Js=1h16m03s

I have reformatted and clarified this portion of the text. Thanks for highlighting this. --Lex (talk) 17:27, 20 August 2020 (EDT)

Further down the page, under the existing bullet point, "During the declaration period, any players who qualify to siege the node can join the siege declaration. The player who declared the siege cannot exclude anyone from joining the attack.[12]"

(Suggested added bullet point) All citizens of the sieged node and all citizens of sub-nodes will automatically be registered as defenders. In order to change sides and become an attacker you will have to renounce your citizenship first. (14:35) www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqWsNeemuQI&feature=emb_logo=14m35s .(2nd reference), see existing citation 26 "Citizens of the node, or provincial nodes, are automatically registered as defense". --Stephen (talk) 14:09, 19 August 2020 (CST)

Changing citizenship has a cooldown of two weeks. The longest siege declaration is only 5 days, so it won't be possible to change citizenship following a node siege declaration. --Lex (talk) 17:27, 20 August 2020 (EDT)
